Analytical TechnologiesMost of our engagements involve the custom development of solutions to meet the specific needs for the situation. However, we do have several technologies and frameworks that we make available to our clients. The following are a few of the specific analytical technologies that we offer: Capacity and Queuing AnalyzerWe have a well-developed framework for analysing capacity requirements for basic and complex queuing systems. The framework involves the use of databases linked to a simulation engine for both input and output data handling. We have developed reporting systems and interfaces so that users can perform analyses independently. Database Simulation Engine We have developed and refined a simulation engine in a standard database technology to help clients carry out simulation analyses without licencing third party simulation software. As much of simulation involves data handling, this design allows for a single application to manage input and output analysis as well as the simulation and scenario analyses. Interfaces Between Analytical Software and Office Software We have developed robust user interfaces between optimization, simulation software and standard Office applications such as spreadsheets, databases, project management software and presentation software. Resource Allocation Methodologies We have successfully custom-developed several new methodologies for allocating scarce resources including capital funds, operating capacity and equipment at organizational and regional levels. We have a generalized allocation methodology framework so that new engagements can leverage relevant concepts including inputs, adjustment factors, and outputs. Our customization approach is highly consultative and exploratory. We engage multidisciplinary stakeholder groups who provide guiding principals and choose between methodology sub-options. We have experienced strong success in this field.
